Fellow Dads - April was spent finding event volunteers for next year and
planning for the Father/Son Communion Breakfast held on Sunday (4/29). This
traditional gathering featured the Alumni Hall of Fame recipient - Walter
Hill - and guest speaker - David Ruffer - providing our sons with personal
views and real time advice. We thank the architects of this event - Rich
Gatti and Bo Fitzpatrick - for their hard work.
May will wind down the feverish
pitch of the GFC over the last seven months with a celebration with the GMC
on Wednesday (5/2). Our theme is Cinco de Mayo but our thoughts are of
Gonzaga. June will close our 2011/2012 GFC chapter with Graduation on
Sunday (6/3). This will also end the active participation of us and many of
our seasoned volunteers as our senior sons will be moving on and taking us
with them.
We thank you for your support,
your time and your friendship...
